MY OWN PRIVATE FINAL DESTINATION

september 27 & 28
7:30pm

“First they say you’re crazy, then they fight you, then all of a sudden, you change the world."

Star of film and television Alexandra McVicker makes the difficult but respectable decision to return to her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky to portray herself in a play she wrote about her own life. Although no one else seems to share her creative vision, she selflessly puts her own life experience on the line - her gender transition, her off again off again relationship with her high school math teacher, her mother’s untimely death - in pursuit of acting’s top honor: an Oscar nomination.

Developed with TBaL co-founder Zach Donovan.
